Vina Robles Amphitheater
The corridos tumbados movement is in full swing, and one of the genre's biggest bands, Eslabon Armado, is making its way to the Vina Robles Amphitheater in Paso Robles. This Saturday, October 11th, performance is going to be a big norteño party. One of the cool things about Eslabon Armado is that they're not too far removed from playing parties and local shows. That gives them a sense of familiarity and closeness with the audience that some performers, particularly in corridos tumbados, have lost.

Eslabon Armado, the trailblazing regional Mexican band from Patterson, California, performs at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, California, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 7:30 PM. Formed in 2017 by brothers Pedro Tovar Jr. (vocals) and Brian Tovar (bass), with Gabriel Hidalgo (guitar), the group skyrocketed with their 2022 album Nostalgia, the first regional Mexican album to hit the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Their 2023 hit “Ella Baila Sola” with Peso Pluma made history as the first Mexican song to reach Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, earning song of the summer honors. Their sierreño sound, blending accordion, bajo sexto, and tuba, the tracks obviously cover topics from the Mexican-American life.
The 7:30 PM show, with doors at 6:30 PM, features a vibrant set of hits like “Jugaste y Sufrí” and tracks from their 2025 releases. The band’s tight instrumentation is seen in their 2024 Coachella performance, which will also make a Splash.
