Vina Robles Amphitheatre Rules

Understanding the policies and guidelines at Vina Robles Amphitheatre helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. These rules are designed to maintain the quality of the venue and performances while providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests attending Vina Robles events.

Ticketing Information

The amphitheater has established clear ticketing policies to help visitors plan their attendance. Here’s what you should know:

  • Purchase options:
Vina Robles tickets can be bought through the venue’s official website, Ticketmaster, or at the Vina Robles Box Office. Purchases should only be made through official channels to avoid fraudulent tickets.

  • Box office hours:
The box office is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., plus on show days from opening until intermission.

  • Will-call pickup:
This service is available two hours before showtime on the day of the show. You must bring a photo ID matching the will-call name.

  • Refunds and exchanges:
All sales are final once completed.

  • Children’s tickets:
Tickets are required for all children three years of age and older; younger children may attend without a ticket but must remain on a parent’s lap.

Entry Requirements

Vina Robles Amphitheatre gates typically open one and a half hours before showtime, with all guests subject to security screening and search upon entry. Photo identification is required for will-call pickup and alcohol purchases. Though gates open 90 minutes before showtime, seating in the concert bowl typically begins one hour before the performance.

Weather Considerations

As an outdoor venue, weather plays an important role in the Vina Robles Amphitheatre experience. Events proceed regardless of weather conditions, except in severe or potentially damaging situations, with the venue operating from approximately April through November to take advantage of favorable weather. While days can be warm, evenings often bring cooling breezes from the Pacific, making it advisable to bring layers, including a sweater or jacket, even during summer months.

Umbrellas aren’t permitted during performances, even in rainy conditions, so sunscreen is recommended for afternoon shows or early evening performances. Some seating areas may receive direct sun during daytime or early evening shows, so checking forecasts before attending is recommended to dress appropriately.
